No Paramore on The Twilight Saga: New Moon album

Paramore, who was featured on the Twilight soundtrack for two of its songs ("Decode" and "I Caught Myself"), will not be returning to do any songs for The Twilight Saga: New Moon, they say.

According to NME,

[D]rummer Zac Farro has said that there will be no more collaborations between the band and the cult spooky movie makers.

"We don't want to be, like, the vampire house band," Farro told Billboard. "It was really fun to be a part of that, and great exposure, but I think Twilight was it for us. We don't want to seem like we're trying to get in every single movie they put out."

Paramore have finished recording their as-yet untitled third album in Los Angeles. The record follows 2007's 'Riot!' and is set for release in September.

The band are currently touring the United States with the recently reformed No Doubt, and have been playing two new songs during their shows, one of which, 'Ignorance', has been mooted to be the first single from the forthcoming album.

Paramore was nominated for an MTV Movie Award for "Best Song for a Movie," but did not win the award (the only Twilight-related nomination that was not taken home by the franchise and its cast).

WIth over a million friends on MySpace, over 30 stops on their cross-North American tour, and a co-tour with re-grouped No Doubt, Paramore is definitely moving away from Twilight.
